| The people of Goddard United Methodist Church are all ministers of
Jesus Christ. We all have gifts for God's ministry within the church, within
the community and within the world. God is calling each of us to learn,
grow and serve. The following list shows just some of the ways that Goddard has for us to share
our time, talents and resources: Bible Studies  Disciple Bible Study classes include: Disciple I, II, III, and IV. A Disciple student must take Disciple I the first year and then may choose Disciple II, III, or IV the following years. Other short term Bible studies are offered during the year. "Witness" is also offered and runs 26 weeks in length. Adult Sunday School Classes  Ten classes are offered on Sunday morning for adults. Wesley class, Susan C. King, Men's Bible Class, Adventurer's Class, Genesis Class, Crusaders, Pairs and Spares, New Beginnings, and Friends of Christ all meet at 9:30 am till 10:40am. Pantry You are encouraged to bring canned goods and other staples to the church office to be distributed to needy families that ask for assistance every day Hospital House A house near the church is available for those needing a place to stay while they are having out-patient treatment at our local hospitals, or the family members who need a place to stay while visiting loved ones in the hospital. Goddard annually sends a team of youth to other areas of Arkansas to serve by building stairs, repairing roofs, and other improvements to housing for those in need. Catch the Vision Goddard participates annually in this ministry dedicated to help start new churches and to help support struggling existing churches. Kairos Cafe Goddard hosts a time of fellowship and exceptional food for every Wednesday night from September through April in the Great Room. For a nominal charge, the entire family can be fed physically, socially and spiritually. Reservations are recommended - call the church office. Join Us! Needy Fund A cash fund is maintained to provide money for gas, prescription drugs, rent for housing, gas and electric bills, school books, school supplies, doctor visits and other items for families in need.
