What we are learning this month:
Obeying God isn’t about being afraid of getting in trouble.
It’s about learning how to care for ourselves, others, and our relationship with God.
February 1 – Learning How to Worship God (Leviticus)
What We’re Learning:
God taught the people how to come close to Him and worship together. Kids will learn that worship is about showing love, respect, and gratitude to God with our hearts and actions.
Family Challenge:
Talk about what worship looks like in your family. Choose one way to worship together this week, such as singing a song, saying a prayer, or thanking God for something each day.
February 8 – God Chooses Priests (Leviticus)
What We’re Learning:
God chose priests to help guide the people and lead them in worship. Kids will learn that God calls people to help others grow closer to Him and that everyone has an important role in God’s community.
Family Challenge:
Have each family member name someone who helps them grow in faith. Say a prayer of thanks for teachers, pastors, leaders, and helpers.
February 15 – A Serious Lesson About Obeying God (Leviticus)
What We’re Learning:
God reminded the people that He is holy and that following Him matters. Kids will learn that obedience is about listening to God and making choices that reflect love and respect.
Family Challenge:
Talk about one rule in your family that helps keep everyone safe or kind. Connect it to how God’s rules help us care for ourselves and others.
February 22 – What It Means to Be Holy (Leviticus)
What We’re Learning:
God called His people to live differently by showing kindness, fairness, and love. Kids will learn that being holy means trying to live in ways that reflect God’s goodness every day.
Family Challenge:
Choose one way your family can live out kindness this week. Helping, sharing, forgiving, or including someone who feels left out.
