Christina Bastible

Youth & Children’s Minister

[email protected]
Christina Bastible was born and raised in southeastern Oklahoma. She graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science degree, later earning both a Master of Arts in Teaching and a Master of Business Administration, because apparently she just can’t resist a good homework assignment. Christina spent several years as an elementary teacher in Arkansas, devoted to creating classrooms where kids felt safe, valued, and free to grow into their unique selves. Now she’s thrilled to bring that same heart to Goddard, walking alongside families as they grow together.

Christina and her husband, Stephen, live in Van Buren with their two daughters, Hadlee and Nora, and their two cats, Lily and Evie. It’s a household never short on chatter, cat hair, or comedic moments. In her free time, you’ll find Christina lost in a book, deep into a TV marathon with her girls, or diving headfirst into a new creative project.

She feels incredibly blessed to serve at Goddard and is always up for a crispy Dr. Pepper from Sonic, a good story, or finding new ways to bring out the spark in kids’ eyes and remind them how amazing they truly are.
